Leveraging SharePoint and Colligo to Replace Traditional Email Archiving Solutions

Box.net versus SharePoint 2010 – The Bell for Round One

While attending the AIIM/Info360 conference a couple weeks ago, it was obvious that Box.net had decided to use the event as their “coming out” party. Dave Foster, our VP of Development, has created a short screencast that demonstrates a new feature in V4.2, the use of Keyword Metadata fields. How to Generate a Site Config File

Some of you may not know that you can generate a site configuration file for Colligo Contributor which can be used to specifiy sites to automatically sync, to set default folder metadata, and more. While this is fairly easy to do if you have synched a bunch of sites (just choose File > Export Site Configuration from the menu), it is a bit harder to set up from scratch.

In general, both versions. The Contributor, Attachment Manager and Send + File addins all work on both versions. Groove’s New Name

Well, it’s official, Groove has a new name… SharePoint Workspace 2010. It was made public yesterday on the Groove Development Team Blog.
The name makeover is in concert with the direction the product is going. SharePoint Workspace will provide easy access to SharePoint content (or content from any server that implements the publicly documented protocols) in an effort to provide a seamless online/offline experience.

New Research Report Published on SharePoint

Internet Research Group just announced the release of a new report on SharePoint entitled “Microsoft SharePoint (takes over the world)”. Cool Title!

Yesterday Colligo Networks announced its second quarter financial results. I was pretty pleased with the progress the company is making - with sales up 100% year over year and strong funnel of business into 2009.
