My BIGGEST pet peeve!
Cornelius van Dyk
Well, besides idiots clogging up intersections when the light turns red of course… I know this sounds silly, but I just can't stand it when people don't know how to SPELL product names. I don't know why it drives me up the walls, but it does. At my firm, I'm constantly waging a campaign for getting people to spell product names correctly. By spelling I mean, proper spelling with the right letters capitalized! (Told you it sounds silly) The one that always trips my wire, be [read].

How do I – Filter values in two lists of custom classes using Linq
Cornelius van Dyk
I originally titled this post “Linq – So wonderful and oh so damn frustrating”, but then decided that the post probably warrants its current name since someone might actually be trying to do the same thing and search for examples of how to achieve that.  There are tons of examples of just how cool Linq is and I'm not saying that it isn't, but man it can be so frustrating to work with at times.  Now I'm not going to pretend that I'm a Linq expert.  I&# [read].

How do I – Scroll the Telerik RadGridView to the top after a data refresh?

SPFarm.Local is null in SharePoint 2010 causing C# Console App to throw a “Object reference not set to an instance of an object” error
Cornelius van Dyk
Body: This one is one of the more annoying errors you’ll encounter in SharePoint development.  The simple reason for that is because the error you’re receiving is bogus.  I mean, sure it’s a “valid” error since the SPFarm.Local is actually null and you’re trying to reference it, but it doesn’t actually lead you anywhere.  As a SharePoint developer/admin/architect, you will often be faced with the need to iterate content in the farm.  Every good SharePoint developer knows that i [read].

Apple's betrayal
